Our field of interest and activity is interdisciplinary in the overlap range of biology, biophysics and biochemistry.
At the TU Berlin we are settled in the division of physical and theoretical chemistry in the departement of chemistry, as a member of the faculty II for mathematics and natural sciences.
Under the criterion of the molecular Bioenergetics we investigate the bases of the transformation of different forms of energy in biological systems, which are of importance for the energy balance of living cells.
